A unique and special sea-sanctuary with bespoke furniture, stylish décor, and a private balcony to watch the sunset and sailboats on Brighton Marina.
  • Sleeps: 2
  • Bedroom: 1
  • Bathroom: 1
  • Minimum stay: 2 nights

Nestled on the scenic Western Concourse in Brighton Marina Village, a stay at Tiny Box Brighton will spirit you worlds away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Tranquil and lovely, this is a sumptuous ‘tiny house’ retreat that exudes coastal charm in (buckets and) spades… perfect for a romantic escape from hectic life back home, surrounded by high-end luxury.

Friendly owners Jai and Bryan transformed their beloved “yellow tin box” themselves, spending plenty of peaceful quality time with their daughter Dottie and family dog Reg along the way.

(The binoculars you’ll find in the retreat were originally purchased by Jai to watch the local birdlife, though Bryan prefers using them to watch the sailing boats from the balcony!)

As such, there’s an irresistibly welcoming, home-from-home atmosphere from the moment you arrive, characterised by supreme attention to every last detail. Well-chosen art adorns the walls, much of the furniture is custom-made, and sensory delights include snuggly goose-down bedding and beautiful hand-crafted crockery.

Meanwhile, a bespoke handrail guides you up to the mezzanine bedroom, or down to that gorgeous sea-view terrace – all that’s left to do is open a chilled bottle of wine and get utterly lost in the fresh sights, sounds, and smells of the coast.

This may be a ‘tiny’ space, but facilities rival a grand hotel suite: there’s a well-equipped kitchen with all the utensils you could want, and an invigorating rainfall shower with toiletries and fluffy towels.

More information

Yes, there’s a Smart TV and Wi-Fi to help evening entertainment along… though you may prefer breaking out a board game or a pack of playing cards (both gainfully provided) and giggling your way through the old-school challenge.

There are blankets to wrap yourselves up in too, for an extra shot of cosiness, and a comfy sofa bed– regrettably, children and pets aren’t permitted, though this does offer a handy excuse to call your favourite sitter!

After a sound night’s sleep, you could find yourself rising nice and early to catch sight of the sun rising gently over the marina as you cradle that first coffee of the day… bliss.

What to do next? Jai and Bryan have thoughtfully provided beach-chairs and a picnic blanket for lazy afternoons by the sea, or you could wander along to the independent cafés and restaurants you’ll find dotted along the marina.

But if the city lights keep calling you, no problem! Take the windswept coastal path for a meandering half-hour stroll into Brighton, where you can explore the iconic Lanes at your leisure – an ideal way to wear yourselves out before another idyllic evening spent at your Tiny Box sanctuary.

Things to note

The mezzanine bedroom is accessed by a small, turning, open-tread staircase. There is no privacy between sleeping areas. Due to the stairs and close proximity to the water, children and pets are regrettably not permitted to stay. Free parking is available in the marina’s multi-storey car park, 5 minutes’ walk from the property.
