The proud winner of a Sunday Times British Homes Award, and a 2019 design award from the Sussex Heritage Trust, The Sea House cuts an incredibly striking dash along the iconic Camber Sands coastline.
Inspiration for the four-bedroom, cedar-clad haven came from Swiss design and sustainability methods. Brought to life from natural materials, using local architects, suppliers, and craftspeople, eco-friendly elements include solar power, and a cutting-edge fresh air circulating system.
Sleeping up to 10 guests (if you’re bringing the whole family along, a further two can be housed in a separate studio) this is a house that’s worthy of fine celebrations and warmly anticipated get-togethers. You’ll marvel at the captivating use of light and space throughout… and those incredible sea views that stretch all the way to France.
You can also admire that spectacular sea-nery from the relaxed comfort of the open-plan lounge and diner on the ground floor, flanked by huge glass doors.
Or how about heading up to the bedrooms on the first floor – one kingsize, one twin and one sea facing superking which has its own glass doors, and a balcony that’s perfect for morning coffee?
But as the holiday organiser, you’ll no doubt want to claim the second-floor suite for yourself… and why not? Equipped with a downy 6ft superking bed, you’ll also enjoy a separate dressing room, an en-suite shower room, and a private, tiered roof terrace and garden that comes with its own crackling firepit.
There are plenty of other sociable, scenic spots to hang out in, including a dedicated TV and media room, a second lounge and balcony area on the first floor, and a garden with a refreshing outdoor shower… perfect for washing sandy toes after a day at the beach!Keep reading

What the guests of The Sea House say
“We visited the fabulous Sea House in July. Beautiful house, incredibly well equipped and furnished. Location is amazing, right on the beach. Julie looked after anything we needed. Loved it and would highly recommend.”
“The Sea House makes the most of every inch of its generous open design ideally situated on the perfect stretch of the Camber Sands beach. We enjoyed it in sunshine and storms. Spread out over the three levels with decks overlooking the stunning sea, we found the house the perfect escape for our two week holiday. Great swims at high tide and wonderful beach-combing and dog walking at low. We rented bikes and easily rode in and out of Rye making the most of every moment. Bedrooms and bathrooms kitted out with all the every luxury. It was all we hoped for and more.”
“Stunning uninterrupted sea views from each floor of this fabulous ‘grand design’ luxurious beach house. Beautiful touches throughout make this a stay to remember, and repeat.”
