The Light House occupies a location that dreams are made of; right in the middle of Saimaa, Finland’s largest lake.

Depending on the season, you’ll be nestled either on the water, or on the ice, with a vast, ever-changing view to gaze upon from huge windows. Golden sunsets have never looked better, while if the season and conditions allow, there’s even a chance you could spot the Northern Lights.

Sleeping two guests, you’ll be transported by boat or snowmobile to your cosy, heated accommodation, and after you’ve settled in, you’ll be taken to the island for lunch and a relaxing sauna session.

You’ll spend the night under those twinkling stars, with the gentle sounds of the lake as your calming soundtrack, then awake to a delicious breakfast served in the barn.
