Perched proudly on top of a 70ft rock stack that soars high above Newquay’s famed Towan Beach, The Island promises to cast you blissfully adrift from the rest of the world.

Completely surrounded by sparkling water at high tide, you can only access it by crossing an elegant suspension footbridge.

As you move ever further from the bustling mainland, and towards your impeccably styled, totally private holiday haven, you’re sure to feel all that world-weariness drifting gently away on the sea breeze.

The hideaway house was once a Victorian tea room, now gracefully refurbished to sleep up to six guests. You’ll want to raise the flag just as soon as you arrive, signifying to the beachgoers below that The Island has some brand-new lordly residents!

Showcasing that spectacular seascape to perfection, you’ll be surrounded by soft, natural greys and whites, complemented by Scandi-style natural wood throughout. Meanwhile, indulgent touches include two crackling wood-burners, cosy rocking chairs, and your very own ‘bar room’ – complete with a bar billiards table, a large 3D TV, and of course, a well-equipped bar!

The kitchen is perfect for whipping up super-sized feasts (though you could always arrange for a private chef to pop in and rustle up some gastronomic delights if you prefer). And when it comes to places to tuck in, you’re completely spoilt for choice.
