The Scottish Borders town of Selkirk boasts an impressive history. William Wallace was proclaimed Guardian of Scotland there, and Sir Walter Scott once served as sheriff.
Experience the grand uniqueness of the town for yourself, with a stay in a Grade B listed, baronial-style townhouse that has a true fairytale castle look and dates back to the 1870s. Sleeping up to eight people in opulent style, there’s no better excuse to gather your favourite people together for a well-deserved slice of luxury!
Enjoy captivating views over the surrounding hills – with the building’s five turrets visible on the skyline. Inside, the triple-height living space is the place for everyone to catch up and relax, in the company of a crackling woodburner and plenty of squishy seating.
If you’re celebrating something special, hire a private chef to whip up a mouthwatering meal in the well-equipped kitchen, then gather round the dining table and indulge! Later on, relax in the mezzanine library with your favourite book.
There’s plenty of style and colour throughout, including a white piano in the hall, handwoven fabrics and cosy furnishings.
Meanwhile, vibrant art and photography adorn the walls. There are four bedrooms to choose from, all impeccably styled – one even features its own tiny turret with a comfy reading chair!
Head out and immerse yourselves in Selkirk’s historic charm, or hole up and reconnect with your loved ones. The choice is blissfully yours.
