The Fish Treehouses & Huts are found in the grounds of The Fish Hotel – a country hotel with a twist, located in the 400-acre Farncombe Estate. You’ll notice the wonderfully relaxed and chilled-out atmosphere the second you arrive, as well as the highest level of luxury at every turn, sure to leave you feeling thoroughly spoiled.

And if it’s spoiling you want, look no further than the fabulous Treehouses and Huts. Each one has been specially designed to offer a unique sanctuary for the most discerning of travellers. With underfloor heating, en-suite bathrooms, well-stocked minibars and a Nespresso machine in each, you can expect all the luxury of a boutique hotel while getting back to nature at the very same time. Even better, your stay also includes a scrumptious Cotswolds breakfast each morning – delicious!

The three fabulous treehouses are perfect for families, and offer a chance to relive that childhood excitement of sleeping among the trees, without forgoing any adult perks! Set upon stilts in its own private woodland setting, each treehouse blends modern design with natural materials for a totally cool rustic adventure. Outside, a large decking area wrapped around a towering oak tree provides the perfect spot to relax, dine and enjoy life among the trees, while inside, a real treat awaits.

With approximately 50m2 of living space, there’s enough room for up to four guests. The open-plan living area features a comfy L-shaped sofa, large enough for everyone to cuddle up together. On the opposite side of the room is a king-size bed with handy storage below, while a pair of full-size twin beds are found in the adjoining bedroom (yes, this treehouse has more than one room!). There’s even an en-suite bathroom with both a shower and a luxurious bath, not to mention fluffy bathrobes and slippers for proper pampering.

If you’re searching for something a little more intimate – perhaps a romantic retreat with a difference – take a look at The Fish Huts. There are two types available, each perfect for couples: the cute and cosy Hilly Huts, and the larger ‘two-huts-in-one’ Hideaway Huts. Blending country charm with every added luxury you could imagine (including a woodburner, TV, DVD player and free Wi-Fi in each!), these huts offer the very best of both worlds. So which will you choose?

The five Hilly Huts are named after their magnificent hillside location, with stunning views of the Cotswolds from your window. Crafted by local firm Ashton Shepherds, these gorgeous shepherd’s huts offer a romantic and rustic retreat from the world. The comfy double bed is topped with crisp linen and cosy blankets for a cosy night’s sleep, while the en-suite bathroom features a fabulous walk-in shower. Oh, and did we mention the outdoor decked area with seating, a chiminea – and a totally lush hot tub?! Heaven!

If you’re up for slightly grander surroundings, whisk your loved one away to one of the five Hideaway Huts – each one nestled in woodland for the ultimate escape to nature. With two huts joined together, each Hideaway Hut has the added luxury of a separate bedroom, complete with a double bed and a luxurious roll-top bath, as well as an en-suite with walk-in shower. Outside, you’re invited to make the most of your secluded hideaway as you relax in your ‘Hikki’ Behemen outdoor bath, kept beautifully warm by a built-in wood-burning stove.

Tempted to drag yourself away for a moment to explore the nearby area? Luckily, there’s plenty in store for you, both in the grounds of The Fish Hotel and beyond. With cycle routes, trim trails and rambling routes on your doorstep – including the legendary Cotswold Way – it’s easy to get out and about and explore this beautiful area. A 20-minute walk across the countryside takes you to charming Broadway (‘the show village of England’), with shops, eateries and the Broadway Museum and Gallery. Oxford and Stratford-upon-Avon are also in good driving distance for day trips to these English gems.

An escape to the countryside is good for the soul, and a fair bit of pampering doesn’t go amiss either! So when your heart’s calling for an escape to nature without leaving any of your luxuries behind, the Fish Treehouses and Huts are waiting for you.
