Featured in The Times as one of its ‘50 Best Winter Breaks in the UK’, the Ellis-Miller house offers you the rare chance to stay in the self-designed home of a renowned, multiple RIBA award-winning architect.

Jonathan Ellis-Miller expertly designed the stunning building in the late 1980s for his own home.  Fast-forward to present day, and you’ll find the Ellis-Miller house is the ideal setting for couples who appreciate designer living at its most outstanding.

The unique and seriously stylish house, located in a tranquil rural setting near Ely and looking out over the famous Fens, has been beautifully constructed from steel and glass to make the most of the natural light throughout its entire living space – not to mention exceptional panoramic countryside views from large, welcoming windows.

The opulent living room is west-facing, perfect for watching golden sunsets melting over the horizon.  You’ll find a freestanding woodburning stove to keep you lovely and cosy, along with a sumptuous three-seater sofa and easy chair to relax in.

The reading area, complete with books, is the perfect spot to curl up and get lost in a riveting tome…that is, when you’re not distracted by the views from the floor-to-ceiling glass windows!

Prepare relaxed meals in the well-equipped kitchen, with its luxurious central island, contemporary units and mod cons that will make you feel as though you’re getting ready to film your very own cookery show!  Better still, enjoy your culinary efforts at a futuristic Saarinen-designed dining table and chairs that are fit for an interior style shoot.

Of course, you may feel like an even more relaxed dining experience on occasion…so why not take your meals al fresco, with a sizzling barbecue on the decking area and fresh lawned garden that doubles as a stunningly secluded sun-and-star trap?
