The Cove was skilfully designed and crafted by the celebrated building designer Richard Jeffery, garnering the accolade of a 2024 Building Excellence Award.
Just two miles from Dartmouth, the spacious and sumptuous eco-retreat is privately nestled in an enchanting wooded valley, for both blissful seclusion and superlative views across shimmering Start Bay waters.
Ideal for a small family, up to four guests can be accommodated here, along with their two well-behaved dogs – so nobody has to stay behind at home. Relax together in the sociable, open-plan living space: purposefully designed to showcase the sublime ocean vista at its most magnificent.
Better still, everything you could wish for is right here, including a 65” Smart TV and Bose sound bar for evening entertainment, a warming log burner to unwind around, and an open-plan dining area for long, laughter-filled mealtimes.
Cook up a storm in the well-equipped kitchen, complete with a built-in oven, a boiling water tap, and a Vertuo coffee machine to help ease your way into lazy mornings spent on the wraparound sun deck, gazing out to sea.
Perfectly furnished for balmy afternoons that morph into star-studded evenings, the deck also boasts dining furniture and a large Kamado barbecue, with a wood-fired hot tub, sauna, and heated shower for good measure.
When it’s finally time to turn in, you’ll have two cosy bedrooms to choose from. The ground-floor room is furnished with two bespoke, full-sized bunk beds and magical woodland views. Or take the feature staircase up to the showstopping master bedroom, with its raised cove-facing seated area and indulgent freestanding bathtub.
