A deliciously private hideaway with an al fresco hot tub, secluded in a dreamy corner of a working farm that's perfectly located to explore the sweeping coasts of South West Wales.
  • Sleeps: 2-4
  • Bedroom: Open plan
  • Bathroom: 1
  • Minimum stay: 2 nights

Blissfully secluded amongst a quarter-acre of rolling Welsh farmland, The Country Yurt has no neighbours to speak of (unless, perhaps, you count the resident chickens and abundant wildlife!)

So, whether you’re planning a romantic break or a small-family escape into nature, you can breathe out and relax, far from the tourist crowds. Yet you’ll still be achingly close to some of the area’s loveliest and most popular destinations, including idyllic Pembrokeshire beaches, and Carmarthenshire’s ancient castles.

Friendly owners Joe and Beth both have backgrounds in farming and ethical tourism, and wanted to introduce others to their love of the Great Welsh Outdoors… only with an extra touch of well-deserved luxury!

They’ve not only seen to it that you’ll have everything you could want – and a whole lot more besides – but your stay at The Country Yurt will also help to fund children’s education in Malawi.

Inside the beautiful yurt awaits an oak kingsize bed to curl up in, hand-crafted on the farm itself. There’s a cosy log burner in the Yurt, or sit outside beside the open fire with the ambient tree lights above.

The Country Yurt is a perfect escape for anyone that loves being outdoors; fire up the pizza oven, play croquet, or simply relax in the hammock with a good book and a glass of wine. Later on, why not greet the sunset with a dip in the bubbling hot tub, then light the firepit and settle in for marshmallow making and gin sipping under the stars.

You’ll also have your very own vegetable garden, herbs and fruit trees to create mouth-watering meals from, and there will be fresh eggs from your resident chickens. Could life get any lovelier?

What the guests of The Country Yurt say

“The Country Yurt is simply a delight, every detail has been thought of to create a magical holiday. We adored the tree lights, hammocks and our own clutch of chickens for the weekend. If you want to relax and unwind, this is the place!”

“Thank you so much for creating the perfect place to escape. Jumbo loved the grounds to run around in and particularly enjoyed scampering around the woodland walk. The pizza oven is great fun. But nothing quite beats watching the shooting stars from the hot tub…simply joyous.”

“My partner Jack surprised me with a 30th birthday trip. To say we were pleasantly surprised with this beautiful place was an understatement…! We have made good use of the pizza oven and had our first BBQ of the year. We made some trips to visit the chickens and stargazed from the jacuzzi. Our frenchies (Bonnie & Ivy) enjoyed exploring the grounds and snoozing by the fire. This trip has been just what we needed and has given us memories to last a lifetime. Thank you!”
