Refreshingly off-grid, The Boathouse Tomich is secluded on the shores of Loch na Beinne Mòire, for the most incredible, atmospheric Scottish Highland views.

Perfect for a cosy couple who want to reconnect with nature – and each-other – the stylish bothy boasts a romantic wood-burning fireplace and squishy leather chairs to curl up in… armed with a wee dram, of course.

Binoculars are provided for you to spot the sea-birds, right from the comfort of your loch-facing chairs.  But if you’d prefer to get up close and personal with the waves, there’s also a rowing-boat for you to borrow.

When your chosen adventures are over, whip up a hearty feast in the charming kitchen and enjoy it at the dining table, with a side-helping of loch views.  Even the clean-lined bedroom has enormous floor-to-ceiling windows, so you don’t have to miss a moment of the sun rising and setting over the shimmering horizon.

Later on, why not treat yourselves to a dip in your private hot tub and watch the stars coming out to play… a wonderful way to say goodbye to the day!

What else?  There’s plenty to see and do in the surrounding area, including golf, deer-spotting in Glen Affric, magical forest walks, and energising mountain bike trails.  That is, if you can tear yourselves away.
