Perfectly positioned amongst idyllic Cheshire countryside, Tattenhall Marina is a peaceful, 300-berth haven on the sparkling Shropshire Union Canal.
With generous on-site facilities and boat hire available, this is the ideal base from which to explore… though once you’ve settled into your luxurious floating pod, your plans may be subject to change!
Each of the six A-frame, glass-fronted pods you’ll discover on the marina boast incredible rural views, all the way out to Peckforton Castle in the distance.
You can savour that soothing vista inside, curled up on the sofa with a steaming cuppa, or outside, on the deck with a chilled glass of wine. You’ll also have Wi-Fi and a Smart TV to help keep you entertained as night falls.
Meanwhile, there’s a sleek, well-equipped kitchenette for hearty suppers, and a stylish double bedroom with views of the marina (if you can get up early enough, watching the sun rise over the glistening water is a special treat.)
The sofa converts to an additional bed if needed, and two pods are dog-friendly… so nobody has to stay behind at home!
After freshening up in your pod’s own shower room, why not wander along to the Boathouse Café Bar for a slap-up breakfast? Serving tempting meals and cakes all day long, you’ll find everything is lovingly prepared from fresh local produce.
