Melting into the Three Rivers horizon, at the gateway to Sequoia National Park, Stellar House is a spectacular mirrored retreat with an al fresco hot tub and an energising sauna.

An adults-only, pet-free retreat, you’ve got the perfect excuse to call a sitter and make your escape into nature with your favourite person in tow… and with the oldest, tallest trees on Earth just half-an-hour away by car.

Just as you might expect, your retreat showcases these awe-inspiring surroundings to perfection. For starters, the downy queensize bed is flanked by windows and boasts a skylight above… so you can drift off to sleep under a blanket of stars, and awake to a mesmerising sunset.

Generous facilities include a well-equipped kitchen area – though you may prefer cooking outside on the hibachi grill – and a piping hot shower. Though you may prefer unwinding in that gorgeous hot tub, instead.

There’s full Wi-Fi to help you stay connected if needed… oh, and even the loo comes with a gorgeous view!

What else? There are magnificent nature-hiking trails just moments away, with scenic picnic spots aplenty, and private swim holes for invigorating dips.  

Why not finish off your expedition with a relaxing session in the barrel sauna, before you prepare the firepit for an epic evening of storytelling?
