Nestled right in the heart of England (close to a Warwickshire village that boasts six CAMRA award-winning pubs, no less!) Silver Star Barn is perfectly located for laughter-filled catch-up stays with family and friends.

Inspired by the relaxed and sociable way of life in the Caribbean, the awe-inspiring, dog-friendly barn sleeps up to seven guests in comfort, surrounded by plenty of natural solid wood to promote feelings of happiness and wellbeing.

Along with ancient timber beamed ceilings, hand-crafted wooden furniture plays a huge part in the barn’s interior design. The magnificent Assembly Hall is the perfect place to gather everyone together over welcome drinks, complete with its soothing gallery of Caribbean sunset photos, and an epic drinks bar that was hand-carved from a single cherry tree.

Head along to the kitchen for more convenience and creativity, with a gorgeous breakfast bar created from two rough-hewn cherry planks.

You’ll want to claim the master bedroom for yourself, of course.  Complete with palm trees and a freestanding roll top bath – not to mention a bespoke-crafted Silver Star kingsize bed – you’ll be in holiday heaven.

Not to worry if you miss out, though! The second kingsize master room is just as beautiful, while the bunk room, complete with a single and two bunks, is perfectly set for a dreamy night’s sleep.

Sleeping spaces claimed, it’s time to head outside to greet two beautiful, hand-crafted garden pavilions (which are known as ‘loggies’ in the Caribbean!) Here you’ll discover a huge al fresco dining table to break bread at, a garden bar, and spa-style hot tub, all with rolling countryside views.

After a fun evening catching up, and a sound night’s sleep under the Warwickshire stars, greet the morning with a steaming coffee and joyous birdsong… and then it’s time to head out and explore.

The nearby ancient village of Long Itchington is home to the aforementioned six award-winning pubs, and is strewn with fascinating historic buildings. The square’s celebrated Manor House dates all the way back to the 15th century, and you’ll also discover a half-timbered Tudor house that was once occupied by none other than Queen Elizabeth I.

Enjoy drinking in the area’s unique history and heritage (as well as the pubs, of course!), before heading back to Silver Star Barn for another relaxing evening of getting to know your favourite people, all over again.

Things to note

Check in from 4pm, check out by 12pm. Pets are accommodated at no extra charge but not permitted in bedrooms. Towels are not provided. No noise after 11pm. The hot tub is filled with fresh water prior to arrival of guests and the fire will be warming the water. Silver Star Barn is located adjacent to a working arable field. It is the guests responsibility to ensure the house is left clean and tidy.
