Surrounded by rolling hills and teeming with diverse wildlife, Glenshee (which translates to ‘fairy glen’) is a magical location that’s beautifully nestled at Scotland’s heart.

The perfect spot for curious travellers and outdoor adventurers alike, not only does Glenshee boast the most extensive skiing and snowboarding facilities in the UK – with the famous ‘Snow Road’ winding through – but all of Scotland’s major cities are within easy driving distance.

In fact, the only problem you may encounter is leaving this enchanting setting… especially if you happen to have booked a romantic stay at Shepherd’s View!

A lovingly bespoke-designed shepherd’s hut for two, you can savour incredible views from your gently elevated position by the site’s shimmering pond, which is a haven for birds and wildlife.  Cradle a mug of coffee in your private garden and gaze across the neighbouring farmland, all the way out to the River Blackwater and the majestic Glenshee hills beyond.

(It won’t matter if it’s raining – or even snowing – since you can also enjoy that magnificent scenery through the huge windows and fully glazed door, as you light the wood-burner and snuggle on the sofa.)

Inside, your spacious haven is sumptuously furnished, with soft-toned décor and well-chosen accessories to help you feel as relaxed as possible. Facilities-wise, you’ll have everything you could possibly need, from the well-equipped kitchen to the en-suite shower room.

But if you’re in need of some extra luxury, no problem. Out in the garden awaits not only a charcoal barbecue for sizzling sunset suppers, but a gorgeous hot tub for you to welcome the evening stars with style… simply add a glass of bubbles!
