Aptly named, Sea the View is nestled in the timeless Cornish village of Sennen, which has the honour of being the most westerly village in mainland Britain.

Cosily tucked away behind Land’s End, Sennen’s unique coastal position means its glorious white sand beach is perfect for surfing, since the mighty Atlantic has free rein to roll!

The spectacular retreat itself sleeps up to four guests, plus two well-behaved dogs, and comes complete with a private car port that promises to make you feel like a celebrity as soon as you arrive.

You’ll enter straight into the relaxed, colourful open plan living space, with its flatscreen TV and gorgeous wood-burning stove.  Here you’ll also discover a fully fitted kitchen packed with all those gleaming holiday essentials, and a sociable dining space for laughter-filled catchups over good food (and even better wine!)

In the mood for cocktails with a side order of sunset? No problem… simply slide open the glass doors and head out to the soothingly scenic garden, strewn with delights that include a hot tub, hammock, and a swing bar.

Linger outside to greet the star-studded evening, and when it’s finally time for bed, head up the stairs – admiring the sparkling crystal chandelier on your way! – and choose your favourite of two superking bedrooms.

You’ll find each room is opulently furnished, with bespoke accessories that include an indulgent freestanding copper bathtub, and its own en-suite shower room…

If you can tear yourselves away, then after enjoying a leisurely breakfast, how about a hike along the rugged, impossibly scenic clifftops of the South West Coast Path? Update your Instagram feed with a picture of the iconic signpost of Land’s End and the First and Last House, then wander down to the beach for a well-deserved spot of sunbathing.

Oh, and due to those aforementioned Atlantic rollers, Sennen boasts its own surf school… so there’s practically no excuse not to give this thrilling activity a try!

But if that sounds a little too energetic, you could always head to historic Penzance for an enthralling day trip instead, leisurely visiting unique attractions that include a bustling harbour and promenade, gardens and museums.
