A “perfect pastoral idyll”, Westley Farm comprises 70 magnificent acres of Cotswolds countryside, and has been featured in publications including the Times, the Daily Telegraph, and the Observer.

It isn’t difficult to see why. Set within a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, bustling central London is a mere hour-and-a-bit away by train. Yet there’s an other-worldly feeling of magic and wonder that will captivate you from the moment you arrive.

Simply make your way along the winding farm track and across the meadow to discover Sapperton Yurt nestled beneath the ancient, whispering woodland canopy.

Sleeping up to two adults and two children, one well-behaved dog is also welcome to stay… so the whole family can experience the laid-back, eco-friendly ambience and thoughtful attention to detail you’ll experience here.

Expertly hand-made in Devon to a traditional Kyrgyz design, the creamy canvas yurt comes complete with a relaxing wood-burning stove and a delightfully comfy double bed, with two single futon chairs for the kids and a wealth of butter-soft throws and rugs.

Step outside to be greeted by a generous deck for lazy afternoon lounging, along with a covered, well-equipped kitchen for whipping up country-style feasts.

(Stuck for ingredients? Stroud’s famous farmers’ market is just four miles away, or order a sumptuous local-produce Westley Farm hamper for your stay).
