Secluded amongst peaceful Wiltshire countryside, in a hilltop village close to bustling Devizes, Rusty Lane Safari Lodge sleeps up to four guests, making this an ideal family escape into nature.

Not that you’ll be ‘roughing it’ here. Filled with creature comforts, cheerful décor, and thoughtful attention to detail, the welcoming wooden lodge will soon feel like a much-loved home-from-home.

Even before you’ve stepped inside, you’ll want to hang out in the sociable, sheltered al fresco seating area, with its comfy chairs, bar-style seating, and a handy hatch into the kitchen.

When you do head indoors, you’ll note the gorgeous wood-burner in the heart of the Lodge, along with the plush sofa adorned with butter-soft cushions and throws. Just the thing, after a long day of rambling in the countryside.

There’s an indoor dining area if the weather decides to take a turn for the worse, and a well-equipped kitchen with a full-sized fridge-freezer, hob and toaster… not to mention that all-important electric kettle.

Bedroom-wise, there’s a double and a twin to choose from, with yet more throws and snuggly blankets to help you drift off into a warm, dreamy night’s sleep.

Oh, and in case you were wondering about bathroom facilities, there’s also a stylish shower enclosure for you to freshen up in, with a basin and WC. Though if you’re in need of an indulgent soak, your private stargazing hot tub will be ready and waiting.

When you rise, take your time to enjoy a hearty home-cooked breakfast, inside or out… one thing’s for certain, you’re going to need the energy for the fun day ahead!

Take a leisurely walk along the Kennet and Avon canal, or jump in the car to enjoy the rolling countryside at its loveliest, with the North Wessex Downs, the Cotswolds, and Cranborne Chase all in easy reach.

Prefer shopping ‘til you drop, peppered with breaks for lunch and coffee? You’ll find nearby Melksham and Devizes brimming with independent shops, pubs, and charming cafés.

Wear yourselves out doing whatever happens to take your fancy, before returning from your energetic safari for another wonderful evening in-cabin with the ones you love.
