Ideal for a romantic break in surroundings worthy of a fine pastoral watercolour painting, Rusty Boathouse is a luxurious lakeside pod for two.
Though ‘rusty boathouse’ may conjure an image of a humble shed, you’ll soon find the cheekily-named retreat is brimming with the style and beauty you’d expect to see gracing the pages of a high-end interior design magazine.
Secluded in the quaint mid Wales village of Llanarth, you’ll be achingly close to the picturesque Ceredigion coast, with the seaside towns of New Quay and Aberaeron just a few miles away. That’s if you decide to leave, of course!
You’ll enter the pod through glass doors that flood the interiors with daylight, whilst allowing you to keep a keen eye on those mesmerising surroundings… whatever the weather.
There’s a sumptuous oil-slick sofa to snuggle on, as you open a bottle of wine and get lost in conversation. But if the sun is shining, simply wander out to the furnished decking, instead. Along with comfy chairs, you’ll also discover a firepit and a hot tub, for supreme sunset-watching and stargazing sessions.
Back inside, the kitchen is perfectly equipped for you to rustle up romantic suppers and hearty breakfasts alike, and there’s an indulgent walk-in shower – complete with a heated towel rail – to help you freshen up.
The bedroom, meanwhile, comes equipped with a downy kingsize bed, and a Smart TV for seriously snuggly movie nights!
