One of just two cosy, rustic huts nestled in a tranquil sheep meadow on the edge of Romney Marsh, Rumwold is the ideal setting for a digital detox.

Fully off-grid, there’s no distracting Wi-Fi or TV to be found (though 4G should be available if really needed!), so you can get on with the important business of reconnecting with nature, surrounded by far-reaching rural views that lead all the way to Lympne Castle.

Self-contained facilities inside the welcoming hut include a well-equipped kitchenette and a soft-glowing wood-burning stove to warm your evenings, plus a tempting welcome pack stuffed with local produce.

All that’s left to do is sit back with a glass of wine, getting to know your loved one all over again as spring lambs frolic in the meadow beyond. Pure bliss.
