There is surely no setting more lovely than acres of quintessential English countryside, completely undisturbed by noise and light pollution.

Rolling Hills, a secluded duo of quirky roundhouses that sleep up to eight people in perfect rural comfort, is surrounded by lush land and extensive natural activity, fuelled by panoramic views of Offa’s Dyke and Bishop’s Castle.  What could be better for a family break spent away from life’s everyday stresses?

Ash and Maple roundhouses are naturally lit by their sun roofs (which become wonderful stargazing windows by night), and are cosily furnished with a woodburner, real comfy beds…and even a Freesat TV!

While rural stays often conjure a sense of ‘roughing it’ in the Great Outdoors, Rolling Hills are equipped with two spacious shower rooms, a well-equipped kitchen with sociable dining area, and a communal living area that’s so comfortable that we defy you to tear yourselves away!

If you’re in the mood to dine al fresco, you’ll find a barbecue and pizza oven situated outside, along with plenty of eateries to be discovered nearby in the characterful town of Bishop’s Castle.  Why not work up an appetite by hiking the Shropshire Way before dinner?

With plenty of attractions also in easy reach, including Powys Castle and the Severn Railway, along with lively market towns to explore, you’ll soon be firmly converted to a rural roundhouse holiday.
