Aptly-named, Rock and Castle Escapes boast unique, bespoke-crafted Estonian igluhuts for two. Each one is perfectly positioned to showcase incredible views of Bass Rock and the 14th century Tantallon Castle ruins, or the rolling Lammermuir Hills.

Their tranquil setting breathes with history itself; a picturesque Auldhame farm owned by a relative of the acclaimed novelist Robert Louis Stevenson, and one of the oldest farming families in East Lothian.

Perfect for a romantic escape with your loved one, each adults-only igluhut sleeps two guests. Crafted from spruce shingles and aspen to a 200-year-old design, the striking huts have been rigorously tested to withstand the punishing Nordic climate, so you’ll feel perfectly warm and snug inside.  Choose from Lammermuir, Whitekirk or Traprain, all equally unique ansd inviting!

Inside your chosen hut you’ll find facilities worthy of a luxury hotel suite, including a well-equipped kitchen, a downy kingsize bed, and a bathroom with a piping hot shower and plenty of storage.

Gaze out at those dreamy views whilst cradling a mug of coffee inside (if you’ve chosen an igluhut that faces Bass Rock and Tantallon Castle, you’ll be gazing through an extra-large window), or wander out to your furnished deck, and immerse yourselves in the blissful rural atmosphere.
