Choose between a standard or deluxe dome (the latter features a private bathroom), with a sheepskin-covered kingsize bed, wooden flooring, and a soft-glowing log-burning stove.

If you can tear yourselves away from this sumptuous setting, you can indulge in organised tours that range from glacier hiking and snowmobile experiences, to exploring the famed Golden Circle.

Later on, head outside to await the arrival of the stars – and if you’re lucky, the Northern Lights – in your private hot tub (glass of bubbles optional!), as the volcanic Esja mountain range provides an unforgettable backdrop.
