There’s also a dedicated pool complex, complete with a heated pool for serious swimmers, and a fun splash pool for the youngsters in your group.
Meanwhile, the kitchen is amply equipped to cater for your every culinary need, whether you’re doing the work yourself, or hiring a private chef for your special celebrations. Oh, and each of the ten individually-styled bedrooms (one of which you’ll find on the ground floor), is en-suite and climate-controlled for the ultimate in relaxing comfort.
Curl up by the huge open fire by evening, swapping holiday stories with a welcome post-dinner tipple. Or retreat to the fully enclosed, wildflower-strewn garden for a sizzling barbecue instead, where the kids are free to run wild as you bask in views of that spectacular golden sunset.

West Lulworth Village is close by with plenty of pretty gift shops to browse through, plus seafood spots that boast unspoilt sea views.
Follow the South West Coast Path if you’re in the mood for a longer ramble, heading towards the famous Durdle Door, with its glorious arch and scenic beach. If you do prefer jumping in the car, the coastal town of Poole and bustling Weymouth are within easy reach.
Head back to Rafters by evening, where you can indulge in a pre-dinner swim, curl up with a good book, or challenge your loved ones to a round of darts in the dedicated games room.
