This magnificent ‘salt palace' was created from the world's largest salt flat, complete with an Andean spa and traditional cuisine, for a memorable stay in southern Bolivia.

Palacio de Sal – “the salt palace” – was lovingly crafted from over one million blocks of salt from Bolivia’s vast, mirror-like Salar de Uyuni, otherwise known as the largest salt flat in the world.

Stepping inside this true architectural wonder feels like entering another world entirely, as not only are the walls cleverly created from salt, but much of the furniture and artwork, too!

Choose from a beautiful selection of rooms and suites, all featuring private bathrooms and some boasting mesmerising salt dome ceilings.

After a sound night’s sleep, you can feast on a delicious buffet breakfast, and then relax in the sumptuous Andean spa, or challenge your loved one in the games room… 

…before enjoying gourmet local cuisine and fine, high altitude wines in the restaurant by soft-glowing evening.
