Both of Otro Mundo’s Eco Domes are thoughtfully situated on private plots to afford you peace and seclusion for ultimate relaxation. Each a perfect hemisphere, shining white against a backdrop of gently rolling hills, the domes feature real front doors and porthole windows to let the natural light in, without compromising your privacy.
Inside, the Eco Domes feel surprisingly spacious, light and airy, both tastefully furnished for maximum comfort. Look forward to real beds, retro armchairs, pretty knickknacks for an added homely touch, and even electric lamps for an ambient glow late into the evening!
You’ll even find your own en-suite bathroom, with an eco-friendly compost toilet and a solar-heated shower – so you can look forward to all your creature comforts without any damage to the beautiful surrounding environment.
La Terrera (The Terrace) is nicknamed ‘The Couples Dome’ – as it’s perfectly sized for two with a wonderfully secluded position. Found on a set of terraces bordering the magnificent pine forest, La Terrera is finished in calm neutral tones, and features an extremely comfy double bed, topped with fresh linen and a cosy sunshine-yellow throw. Wake to gorgeous views towards the barranca – a small riverbed which fills with water after rainfall – and relax together in the shade of an almond tree.
Larger groups will love La Vina (The Grapevine). This ‘Family Dome’ is located on a large plot where grapes used to grow, and offers a more vibrant colour scheme, including a fabulous brown-and-orange, retro-inspired headboard! La Vina easily sleeps a family of up to five between a cosy double bed with an extension, and another large double bed. There’s even space for a travel cot if you’re bringing a very little one.
All guests have use of El Abericoque (The Apricot) – a beautifully finished communal area, featuring a shaded porch, a table and chairs, and a shared kitchen with a gas stove, a fridge, utensils and drinking water. Why not buy some organic veg from Otro Mundo’s garden and prepare a tasty vegan dish? Or to truly relax, order ahead for a delicious daily breakfast, or a spectacular vegan supper cooked for you every Wednesday and Saturday!

As well as plenty of scope for relaxation, Otro Mundo offers a range of activities to make your stay even more special. Kids will adore the playground, featuring a tyre swing, a slide and a big trampoline, while everyone can make a splash in the refreshing natural swimming pond where you can share a wild dip along with the frogs, birds and other creatures, and fully immerse yourself in nature. Meet the family’s animals, wander the site, and keep a keen eye for wildlife, including Iberian wild goats, deer, and fascinating reptiles and amphibians.
If you like to get a little more active, pack a picnic and follow one of the many walking routes on offer – some of which lead from your own front door. For something really spectacular, ask for a guided hike to Cueva del Niño, where you’ll marvel at Paleolithic artwork found on UNESCO’s heritage list.
Or you could simply sunbathe, relax, listen to music (or make your own!), and soak up every second of the peace and magnificence that Otro Mundo has to offer. After all, what else are holidays for?
