Set amongst the whispering apple orchards of the Elgin Valley, with bustling Cape Town a mere hour away, Old Mac Daddy is a fun, family-friendly retreat that’s filled with welcoming wonder.

There are plenty of wide-open spaces for the kids to explore, as well as winding mountain paths, a lakeside beach, an on-site spa – and joyously eclectic, Insta-friendly accommodation aplenty!

Perfect for couples and families, 12 vintage Airstream Trailer suites have each been designed by some of Cape Town’s foremost artists and designers.  Two stylish self-catering villas – Daddy’s Villa and The School House – are an ideal choice for larger groups; the latter sleeping up to 6 adults and 4 children in cosy comfort.

Last but by no means least are three tented camps: each one rich in natural luxury, yet with the free, fresh-air-filled sense of camping out under the stars.

A delicious breakfast is served in The Barn Restaurant each morning… fuel yourselves up, then get ready to explore the Elgin Valley in all its bountiful glory!  But if you’d rather stay on site, no problem.  The dedicated Daddy’s Adventure Gurus will be more than happy to arrange a plethora of activities, from tractor rides to stand-up paddle boarding.
