The four lovingly crafted shepherd’s huts each boast their own unique style and personality. The Shepherds Retreat is a lodge-like hut that’s ideal for a family break, equipped with a downy kingsize bed and two single bunks. Drenched in luxury, there’s even a gorgeous enamel roll-top bath outside, ideal for a stargazing soak at the end of a long day exploring the local area.
The aptly named Hilltop View is a quirky gem of a couple’s retreat, featuring a fold-away double bed (with a goose down duvet and Egyptian cotton sheets, naturally!) and an indulgent full-sized bathroom. Meanwhile, the expansive decking area allows you to make the most of those spectacular views.
In need of a touch more opulence? Ashwood Luxury Shepherds Hut is the ultimate retreat-for-two, with its oak-clad exterior and natural hessian-covered walls. Warm your toes in front of the log burner…or why not take a dip in the gleaming handmade copper bath, instead?
Another stunning couples’ retreat, Monkwood Shepherd’s Hut is named after the beautiful ancient woodland close by, which is renowned for its vibrant butterflies. Clad in Douglas fir and boasting open countryside views, you’ll be able to watch the grazing horses as you make your morning coffee in the hut’s stylish kitchen, with its quartz countertop and Belfast sink. No sumptuous detail has been spared, from the exposed oak roof beams, to the wow-factor William Holland rolltop copper bath in your luxury bathroom.

Once you’ve chosen your favourite retreat, why not come and look in on the beautiful horses as they trot around the riding area? The nearby paddocks (which you may be able to view from your retreat) are home to plenty of charming characters, including Paddy the Irish Draft, Fairy the cheeky Shetland pony, and not forgetting SuperTed, a handsome Irish Cob.
Fancy getting out and about? A visit to Worcester is a worthy way to spend your time, with its intricate architecture – including the magnificent cathedral – and rows of independent shops. Drenched in history, there are plenty of interesting stories to tell, so why not join one of the guided walking tours of the city?
You could walk the Malvern Hills if you get a craving for even more of that invigorating fresh air, or how about a stately visit to the dramatic ruins of Witley Court, formerly one of England’s great country houses?
