From sumptuous furnishings and private facilities, to those wonderful holiday ‘extras’, you’ll find every last detail has been carefully thought out at Oaklands Glamping.
Delightfully secluded in the Powys hamlet of Llangyniew, the vast grounds are both beautifully lush and rich in wildlife. That means magnificent valley views are guaranteed from both inside and out.
Bespoke-crafted, adults-only Heartwood Treehouse is an ideal escape for couples who want to leave dull everyday life firmly on the ground. Expertly constructed by hand and set within the trees for glorious south-facing scenery, there’s plenty of intricate detail to cast your eyes upon as you ascend the grand staircase.
Why not begin your break by enjoying a sizzling barbecue on the enormous, panoramic oak tree decking, as you survey all the beauty of the Welsh countryside and the sparkling Banwy River below?
(The views are so breathtaking here, in fact, that many guests have commented how even the photos don’t do them justice. And with no restrictions from that all-encompassing decking, you’ll find it extremely difficult to choose a favourite viewing spot. Prepare to be seriously wowed!)
Later, as the first stars make their appearance in the evening sky, a soothing dip in your private wood-fired hot tub has to be the ultimate in relaxation (particularly when accompanied with a glass of bubbles!) You’ll even find the tub blissfully pre-warmed and ready for your arrival.
Inside, a cosy leather sofa is ideally placed by the huge windows for you to enjoy that incredible rural vista, with a crackling log burner to keep you warm. There’s a fully-fitted kitchen with Welsh slate worktops and sleek, high-end appliances – dishwasher included – and a flat-screen TV to keep you entertained once the sun has set.

What the guests of Heartwood Treehouse at Oaklands Glamping say
“We have just returned from the most amazing treehouse stay with Oaklands Glamping & Treehouse. I can not recommend this place enough. Just absolutely stunning and the attention to detail, they have thought of it all, inside and out. The book inside filled with recommendations from restaurants, takeouts (including grazing boxes) to local attractions and hike code of conduct among other bits of info is really useful if you want to venture out but it is very tempting to just stay in and enjoy every part of this place and bird watch or watch the world go by on the balcony sipping on your favourite drink from the coffee machine, kettle or wine cooler. I will continue to rave about this place to anyone who will listen as I could not fault it and can’t wait to return in the near future, if you aren’t booked up! Thank you again for such a lovely stay” James & Lauren
