It’s hard to imagine a more magical place to escape into nature than Nymetwood Treehouses.
Set amongst 20 blissful, wildlife-steeped acres of Devon meadow and woodland, with babbling streams, lush meadows, and whispering apple orchards, this is about as close to rural paradise as you can get.
Better still, friendly family owners James and Cherie have seen to it that your every holiday need is luxuriously covered.
For starters, both of the breath-taking Scandi-inspired treehouses you’ll find here – named Blackcap and Starling – have been sustainably crafted from locally-sourced wood and low-impact materials.
Perched high in the mesmerising tree canopy, you can enjoy exceptional rural views from your chosen retreat, whether outside on your deck, or gazing through the floor-to-ceiling windows with a cuppa.
Both treehouses boast luxurious self-contained facilities, including a fully-fitted kitchen and an indulgent shower room stocked with organic toiletries. Though as day slowly turns to evening, you might prefer wandering out to that deck, where you’ll discover a large, gleaming copper bathtub to help you welcome the sunset in style!
Back inside, there’s a downy superking bed in the mezzanine, all set for a dreamy night’s sleep after downtime spent snuggling on the sofa with a glass of wine, the crackling woodburner casting a soft, romantic glow.
