If you’ve ever seen the classic movie ‘White Christmas’ (or even if you haven’t), we’re willing to bet you’ve dreamed at least once about waking up to magical scenes of snow-covered mountains from a luxury log cabin.
Even when the snow isn’t falling, it’s hard not to be captivated by this enchanting and invigorating location. Moose Meadow Lodge and Treehouse provide over 4000 square feet of living space, secluded in 86 blissful acres of mountain land – the Green Mountains, to be exact – in Waterbury, Vermont.
Tranquil and relaxed, you’ll not only be able to drink in endless mountain views over your morning coffee, you’ll also be achingly close to the best of Vermont’s famed attractions, including Ben & Jerry’s ice cream factory and several ski resorts. You’ll find a sparkling trout pond and plenty of scenic hiking trails here too.
The spacious, log-built Lodge boasts four themed and individually handcrafted guest rooms for you to relax in. Each view-filled room features an opulent bath and downy bedding, rustic log walls, and at least one friendly teddy bear.
Budding anglers will adore the Creel Room, with accessories that include fly rods and hand-woven fishing baskets, a bathroom that features a marble sink and a custom-built steam room, and a private deck that looks over the woods. Meanwhile, the Sled Room is a snug corner room that’s popular with newlyweds! Handmade twig tables, an Italian tile bathroom with steam shower and a cathedral ceiling provide the ideal setting for rustic romance, along with a private wood-facing deck.
The imaginative Duck Room includes a private screened porch, ideal for quiet time with a book, or late-night conversation with your loved one! Duck photos, decoys and accessories adorn this cosy space, which features exposed beams and a hand-crafted wooden bathroom. Finally, the aptly-named Mountain View Room features truly astounding views of Hunger Mountain and the Worcester Range, steam shower and radiant floors.
Relax amongst maple, spruce, cedar and birch trees from the covered front deck, or perhaps head up to the Sky Loft, a glass-covered gazebo found at the highest point of the property, for the most spectacular vista around!
