Not only is bustling Oxford just half-an-hour away, but there’s plenty of scope for long riverside walks and indulgent lunches in award-winning gastropubs.
The delightful cottage sleeps up to six guests, in a dreamlike escape for a small family or group of friends. Inside, soft-toned décor and thoughtfully-chosen accessories blend with exposed brick walls and wooden beams, for an atmosphere steeped in historic charm.
There’s plenty of sumptuously-furnished space to socialise in, including a convivial living area, and a cosy snug that’s ideal for curling up with a cuppa and a good book.
Break bread all together in the rustic open-plan dining room – made for laughter-fuelled, wine-accompanied mealtimes that last for hours! – over feasts cooked in the farmhouse-style kitchen. You’ll even be treated to a locally-sourced welcome hamper to get your stay off to a delicious start.
When it’s time to turn in, simply claim your favourite of three elegant double bedrooms. Each boasts original beams and colourful décor, to inspire whimsical daydreams and sound nights of slumber. There’s a shower room for freshening up, along with a separate family bathroom with a freestanding bath, for opulent evening bubble soaks.
Cradle that first coffee of the day out in the mesmerising lawned garden, dotted with hedgerows, sweet-scented hanging roses and vibrant flower beds, for a blissful way to greet sun-dappled, birdsong-filled mornings.
