You’ll find the wide-beam barge in prime position on the shimmering Limehouse Basin, which was formerly known as the Regent’s Canal Dock, and is perfectly located for you to enjoy the bright lights of London!
Not that you’ll feel like leaving once you’ve stepped aboard. You’ll be personally welcomed on arrival and given a full tour of your new holiday surroundings, which include all the amenities you could want.
Along with a fresh, laid-back colour palette of blues, whites, and neutrals are sleek high-end appliances. There’s a huge Smart TV and a gorgeous fireplace in the living space and underfloor heating in the gleaming bathroom, which boasts a full-sized bath, a separate walk-in shower, and indulgent toiletries.
Break bread and drink chilled glasses of wine – you’ll have a dedicated wine fridge, after all! – on plush chairs around the large table… or take your meals out to the scenic al fresco deck, with its dedicated dining space and comfy sofa, instead.
There’s a well-equipped kitchen to cook those meals in, too; complete with a full-sized oven and four-burner hob (those holiday essentials, a dishwasher and a microwave, are also on hand!)
When it’s finally time to turn in, simply claim your favourite of two elegant bedrooms: a kingsize and a double, both with luxuriously-dressed beds and plenty of storage space.

What to do after that ridiculously sound night’s sleep? You’ll soon find you’re spoilt for choice of options!
For starters, the nearest DLR station is a mere four-minute walk away and bustling Canary Wharf just fifteen. Meanwhile, the famed River Thames water taxi service is just a few steps from your houseboat, as is the local bike hire… perfect for navigating the two-mile journey into the City.
Don’t fancy going quite that far? As you can imagine, there are plenty of pubs, shops, and restaurants in easy walking distance, including Gordon Ramsay’s Bread Street Kitchen. You could also enjoy a tipple at The Grapes, an iconic, food-serving pub that’s one of London’s oldest. Charles Dickens was a regular, even featuring The Grapes in his classic novel Our Mutual Friend.
In fact, with so much to see and do in just about every direction, you may find yourselves booking your next stay aboard Lulubelle before you’ve even arrived home!
