Little Nan’s Holiday Home is a four-storey, three-bedroom treasure trove, and the proud winner of multiple accolades including the UK and Europe’s ‘Most OTT AirBnB’!
You’ll see why from the moment you arrive. A glitzy, kitschy shrine to Nineties’ and Noughties’ pop culture, each room is a brand-new adventure waiting to happen. So much so, you’ll be tempted never to leave – even though the full delights of Weymouth are practically on the doorstep.
The fun just won’t stop coming… whether you’re doing your best Peggy Mitchell impression in the kitchen (there’s a huge, circus-style ‘Get Outta My Pub’ sign to help you along!), snacking in the dedicated Midnight Feast bar area – outfits courtesy of the props cabinet! – or unwinding with plush tigers in the cushion-festooned, foliage-framed lounge.
Owner, Grandson Tristan, created the retreat in homage to his beloved Nan, JoJo, who lived to 103 and “loved stuff”. At Little Nan’s, said “stuff” has been sourced personally from local markets and vintage shops, with some – such as a glorious gold bust of EastEnders’ icon Pat Butcher – commissioned especially, for a wow-factor stay you’ll remember forever.
But it’s not just the bold, accessory-rich interiors that will captivate you here. Supreme attention to the tiniest detail means you’ll relax in pure comfort and luxury, too. The kitchen is bursting with high-end mod-cons (yes, including a dishwasher!), the showers are hot and powerful, and the beds come with super-comfy Emma mattresses.
Which room will you choose? The John-Clyde Bedroom is perfect for two, with an indulgently large dressing area, while JoJo’s Bedroom, also for two, boasts a lavish en-suite and sea views. Meanwhile, if you’re fan of a giggly sleepover, the 90’s Bedroom comes with two sets of bunk beds, homemade wall (and ceiling!) cutouts and collages, and a dedicated retro gaming/CD area.
What else? More stand-out spaces include the spectacular Moview Room at the very top of the house, where you can watch your favourite films or gaze dreamily out to the sea and harbour (your choice). Or unwind with warm bubbles in the themed ‘EastEnd Mermaid’ bathroom, complete with a large and indulgent freestanding bath.

More information
(Even the downstairs loo – aka the ‘Lav of Love’ – is a feast for the eyes, complete with two selfie mirrors and a washing machine!).
If you do decide to venture out, you won’t be disappointed. Although there’s a free parking space for guests, Grandson Tristan doesn’t have a car, walks everywhere, and recommends you do the same! Newton’s Cove and Nothe Gardens are his personal highlights, just moments away from the house. Or take the Chapelhay Steps to reach the harbour, leading on to Town Bridge and the beach. There’s even a children’s play park directly opposite the house, and a corner shop just across the road.
When you get back, you’ll find Little Nan’s front yard is perfect for an early evening barbecue, before the fun and discoveries continue back inside. What could be better?
Things to note
While not a party venue, the house is very suited to celebrations and get-togethers including birthdays and hen weekends. Please let the owner know on booking if you are celebrating anything, so your experience can be made extra-special!
