Levit Glamping
- Sleeps: 2
- Bedroom: 1
- Bathroom: 1
- Minimum stay: 1 night
Accessible only by boat, Levit Glamping is an opulent natural sanctuary in rural Colombia, nestled in the verdant hills above the riotous rainbow houses of Guatapé.
Once you’ve sailed across the emerald-hued Guatapé reservoir, you’ll embark on a scenic 10-minute forest hike that leads to the ‘lunas’ – white, spherical glamping pods nestled in the whispering trees.
There are just six cosy lunas to choose from, each one accessed by a wooden walkway. Inside awaits a finely-dressed bed, and 180-degree windows that showcase the most mesmerising hill-and-reservoir views.
You’ll have your own private bathroom, too, as well as an al fresco hammock for lazing on sunny afternoons, and a dining terrace for the ultimate in romantic suppers. Room service is provided on request, a delicious breakfast is served each morning, and there’s free Wi-Fi to help keep you entertained (in the unlikely event you tire of all that nature-watching!).
Relax in the hot tub as the sun sinks gently over the mountains, or arrange an indulgent spa treatment for even more well-deserved pampering. If you’re in more of an energetic mood, activities include guided forest walks and kayaking, and there’s even a games room on site to help you let off some of that competitive steam.
