  • Bedroom: Varies
  • Bathroom: Varies
  • Minimum stay: 1 night

Perfectly positioned in between the stunning Mont Saint-Michel and Saint-Malo, Les Ormes is a former bishop’s estate and the site of a 16th century château, lovingly transformed into an award-winning accommodation and activity centre with a little something for everyone!

You’ll be given an exceptionally warm welcome as soon as you arrive on the two-hundred acre estate, and with so many cosy and unique accommodation options available, you’ll truly be spoilt for choice.

The quirky, electricity-free Raft Houses, set on sparkling ponds in the heart of the estate, are built on a barge and ideal for couples and families looking for an unusual and tranquil escape. Though you’ll maintain contact with the shore at all times, you’ll be supplied with a large oar to help you drift lazily on the water!

If you want to live life in a cosy bubble then a stay in Mars, Jupiter or Venus may just be for you! These three ‘bubbles’, accessible by a seven metre high net (complete with a facilities cabin on the ground next door) are the perfect place to rest your head, in a round bed that perfectly fits the contours of your bubble – and with breakfast freshly delivered each morning!

Treehouses are of course a firm childhood fantasy staple, and the treetop homes you’ll find at Les Ormes are the first ever to be created in France, way back in 2004. Blissfully free of electricity, equipped with wooden furnishings and a supply of candles, choose your ideal home size and height from four, ten or even twenty metres if you’re brave enough!

Perfect for those who want to reconnect with the natural world, the Nature Lodges are ideal for groups of friends or families, set slightly off the beaten track and with a distinct ‘fairytale cottage’ feel. Meanwhile, the south-facing Camping Huts represent an ideal blend of a creative treehouse, with all the comfort of a cottage – wonderful if you just can’t face the idea of living high amongst the tree tops!

Big and little kids alike are guaranteed a barrel of fun with a stay in a Wooden Barrel, imaginatively designed to resemble a telescope for optimum nature-watching! Choose from a barrel for two or four people, with bathing facilities available nearby.

What the guests of Les Ormes Domaine & Resort say

“Over the last 24 years i have been to Les Ormes at least 8 times. I brought my children and now i am bringing them and my grandchildren. This is a wonderful campsite and i have watched it grow and become even more wonderful. it has so much to do for all ages and we always have a great time with lots of amazing memories with the photos to prove. In the past i have stayed with other camping companies on the site but as Les Ormes expanded their amazing accommodations, we have booked through them. I would recommend this campsite, and often do, to any one of any age and challenge you to say your bored. The staff are amazing and so friendly and i can honestly say they actually look like they are having the best time too. I will be returning within the next couple of years and hope to keep on returning for a long time yet.”

“We camped in one of the Castel Premium pitches for 6 nights and were very pleased. Nice even pitch, sheltered and private. Great little shed provided with a full half size fridge in it, barbeque, electric hook up, table & chairs & parasol! We loved the swimming pools! Just fantastic for all ages. Activities fabulous and affordable. We all wanted to stay longer!!”

“We had a wonderful week at the campsite. There are activities for all the family. My two little girls loved the activities on offer. The staff are warm and welcoming. The restaurant is affordable and screamingly good.”
