Secluded in lush Normandy farm gardens, Le Colombier is a 16th century dovecote, elegantly restored as a luxurious gîte for up to six guests in need of a unique, fresh-air-filled escape.

A perfect bolthole for families who love the sea, the breath-taking Alabaster Coast is also close by, with its soaring while cliffs that have inspired writers and artists, including Monet and Boudin, for centuries.

Boasting a mix of modern and vintage-inspired furnishings, there are plenty of nods to the curved building’s history, with exposed brickwork and beamed ceilings throughout. However, there are modern kitchen and shower facilities, and of course, a TV to help you wind down after a busy day spent at the beach!

There’s a huge flower garden to relax in, or take an old-fashioned turn around, as you discuss your holiday plans in detail.

Will you stretch out your towel on one of the many incredible beaches, perhaps? How about a walk to the bakery first, to stock up on fresh croissants and baguettes for breakfast?

You could also hop in the car and visit the bustling city of Rouen, a mere 45 minutes away. In fact, with so much to see and do all around you, the only problem might be which to choose first!
