Especially crafted for creative souls in need of revival and replenishment, Korkhouse is a charming, cosy, and fully off-grid Tiny House that’s peacefully secluded amongst nature.

Lovers of design and small spaces alike, owners Jasper and Connie built their beloved Korkhouse on a secluded mini-‘island’ at the meeting-point of Dorset, Somerset, and Wiltshire. Their ultimate vision was to craft a welcoming haven, imbued with an uplifting sense of freedom… for living, dreaming, relaxing, and of course, creating.

Clad in eco-friendly cork, the wooden sanctuary is perfect for two adults, with a sumptuous memory-foam bed nestled under the eaves, and a soft-glowing wood-burner to warm snuggly evenings spent chatting and reconnecting – or indeed, perfecting your latest creative masterpiece!

Alongside convenience and thoughtful attention to detail, you’ll find care and sustainability have been built right in, with solar electricity to power cosy TV nights, and a grey water recycling system to make freshening up in the piping-hot shower feel guilt-free.

There’s also a well-equipped kitchenette for meals and snacks, and an al fresco dining area with wooden stools and a table… and if the evening sun is shining, then why not fire up the barbecue for a sizzling supper?

Relax in the Japanese-style wooden bath seamlessly built into the deck, perfect for tranquil, open-air soaking. You could also opt to spend lazy afternoons relaxing by the stream, to a gentle soundtrack of birdsong and the flowing of the mini-waterfall as sheep and cows graze calmly nearby. If you’re lucky, you may even catch sight of the occasional deer… or perhaps Jasper and Connie’s friendly ducks, named Susan and Paul.

Back inside, there are Sonos speakers and a selection of board games to help keep you entertained, along with Wi-Fi if needed. If it’s a special occasion (or even just because!), add-on ‘extras’ include booking an indulgent in-cabin massage or facial, or a mouth-watering foodie delivery from the local farm shops.
