Kate’s Lazy Meadow was created by Kate Pierson, from the rock band The B-52s – someone who has travelled the world over and knows a good place to stay when she sees one!
Set within nine acres of idyllic meadow, complete with stirring views of the Catskill Mountains, you’ll find a wondrous selection of accommodation from suites, cabins and lodges, to a rustic (love) shack.
Inside, you’ll find vibrant colours, unique styling and plush furnishings, all inspired by Kate’s travels, steeped in her trademark style, and all promising to enliven your senses. Think authentic 1950s style kitchens (ideal for cocktail shaking), cool space-age décor, vintage cabinets, stoves, and even the occasional Frigidaire. In summertime, why not take a plunge in the Japanese-style outdoor bath and gaze up at the stars?
Try your hand at trout fishing on the Esopus Creek, accompanied by panoramic mountain views, or stay home and take advantage of the rare and vintage DVDs on hand to entertain – however you prefer to laze, in the blissful seclusion of Kate’s Lazy Meadow, the choice is completely yours.
