It’s unlikely you’ll have encountered anything like Inntel Zaandam before.

Comprised of what looks like a charming mash-up of the green-painted cottages that characterise Amsterdam’s Zaan region, the twelve-storey hotel cuts an incredibly striking dash in the newly-regenerated district.

(There is just one blue house that stands out from the rest, a tribute to Monet’s 1871 ‘The Blue House’ painting that was completed in Zaandam).

There’s an irresistibly warm, ‘home’-like feel to the entire hotel, whose concept is just that – a hotel is your temporary home while you’re away, so it has to be welcoming and comfy.

As such, each room combines modern décor with traditional elements and vintage photographs… and if you also appreciate a touch of luxury, you can even treat yourself to a room with a whirlpool bath!
