Happisburgh Lighthouse Cottage
- Sleeps: 5
- Bedrooms: 2
- Bathroom: 1
- Minimum stay: 2 nights
Originally built in 1791, Happisburgh Lighthouse Cottage has more than a few historic stories to tell. You’ll find this irresistibly cosy cottage in a beautiful Norfolk location – adjoining Happisburgh’s colourful working lighthouse, no less – that’s a perfect base for exploring the Norfolk Broads as well as the windswept coast.
Not that you’ll need to go out to enjoy spectacular views. Simply brew a mug of morning coffee and watch the sunrise glinting on the waves, right from the comfort of your cottage.
There are two comfy bedrooms, one double and one twin – and you’ll even find the cellar has been imaginatively converted into a children’s den, complete with TV, DVD and table football…so even if the weather takes a turn for the worse, no-one will get bored!
Head out to the enclosed garden on sunny afternoons, or climb to the top of the lighthouse itself for even more of those magnificent views. While there’s plenty to do in the surrounding area, no-one would blame you if you decided to stay just where you are, instead.
