When the sun is shining, enjoy al fresco time out on the enormous deck, strewn with comfy rattan chairs, squishy beanbags in a riot of colours, a large, cosy dog kennel, and twinkling fairy lights for when day turns to evening.

Here you’ll also find a heated ‘shack’ that’s ideal for chatting over home-mixed cocktails and sizzling sunset suppers, a stargazing hot tub, and a heated swimming pool for pre-dinner laps.

Oh, and with hooks to hang your wetsuits, not to mention a heated shower for sandy post-beach toes, you could find no good reason to venture inside at all!

If you do, you’ll be greeted with high-quality furnishings, enormous windows that allow natural light to flood inside, and plenty of bright, cheerful colour to supercharge your holiday spirits.

Two huge TVs – complete with full Sky package – mean everybody will be kept entertained once the sun’s gone down, and there’s a ‘secret’ Finding Dory room just for the kids.

Meanwhile, the large west-wing dining table is perfect for indoor feasting… and with huge doors that face the deck, you can keep an eye on any stragglers still in the pool!

The playful quirkiness doesn’t end here, as you’ll find each of the ten bedrooms lovingly styled and furnished with Cornish themes, including the wonderfully-named Cocktail, Stripey, and Flamingo.

Although each room offers something special, our tip is to claim the Nautical Suite for yourself: a superking bedroom with patio doors to the terrace, and a double shower en-suite.

When you’re not lazing or surfing on the beach, you could head for the local farmers’ markets and stock up on artisan supplies, or treat yourselves to a traditional Cornish cream tea.

There’s plenty of family-friendly adventure to be found, too, from building sandcastles to visiting the local theme parks. Yet we’re willing to bet that spending time together by the pool, welcoming in another glorious sunset, will count as everybody’s favourite part of every day!
