Hadspen Glamping
Sumptuous, family-sized safari lodges with five-star facilities and private hot tubs, soothingly off-grid and secluded in a vast, private field in the heart of Somerset countryside.

  • Bedrooms: 2 or 3 per lodge
  • Bathrooms: 1 per lodge
  • Minimum stay: 2-3 nights

Can you imagine transporting an opulent five-star hotel suite deep into the heart of tranquil, other-worldly Somerset countryside?

That’s exactly what a break at Hadspen Glamping feels like: all the freedom, fresh air and simple joys of rural life, combined with indulgent delights that make a holiday feel truly special.

Each of the three wood-and-canvas safari lodges you’ll discover here is unique in its own irresistible way, affectionately named after a quarry in the local area and individually styled to sleep families of four to seven guests in blissful off-grid comfort.

Whichever lodge you choose, you can expect to find luxuries that include a fully-equipped kitchen and an en-suite shower room (this is glamping, so there’ll be no midnight dashes to a communal washroom), with an expansive, scenery-showcasing veranda and a stargazing hot tub for good measure.

Choose the gloriously laid-back and creative Horscombe Lodge – which sleeps up to three adults and one child – for the most unique hot tub dip you’ll ever experience… in a copper tub skilfully transformed from an antique cheese vat!

Lime Kiln Lodge sleeps up to four adults and one child, in charming surroundings that are reminiscent of a quaint country cottage. Last but by no means least, contemporary, clean-lined Grisway Lodge is the largest, sleeping up to six adults and one child in three design-led bedrooms.

If you thought the treats ended there, think again! You can also choose from a range of hampers to make your stay even more luxurious… think freshly-made cream teas, delicious local-produce picnics and barbecues, pampering spa products, chocolates and soft fairy lights.
