Once featured in The Guardian as one of the best glamping spots in Europe, Glamping Canonici di San Marco is a pioneering concept in Italy, and one that is much loved by visitors from all over the world.

It isn’t hard to understand why. Italian hospitality, nature and culture combine beautifully here, in the rustic surroundings of a seventeenth century barn located by the Venetian lagoon. This is land on which the Doges and the ancient Venetian nobles built their summer homes, and as you stroll through the native trees and aromatic olive orchards, you’ll wish you could build one for yourself!

Luxury Tents Gelso and Kaki (sleep up to 4 guests)
Gelso features a tree inside the lodge, bringing nature well and truly inside! Sleep restfully under the branches, while unusual furnishings include a fossilised wooden sink. Kaki, meanwhile, is a vintage-lover’s paradise, full of retro accessories, warm colours and natural materials.

Luxury Tent Suites Bamboo and Bagolaro (sleep up to 5-6 guests)
Grey and silver lustre is the theme of the palatial Bamboo, complete with silver bed, white curtains and iron chandelier.  Bagolaro is influenced by the plains of Africa, where zebra rugs, hand-carved chests and wooden animals reign supreme. You’ll also find a round double bed with views from the private garden – ideal for those who love sleeping under the stars.

Luxury Suites (sleep 2-4 guests)
Rosso Veneziano (Venetian Red), is spacious and indulgent, with high ceilings, two bedrooms and gentle lighting. Junior Suite Verde Laguna is perfect for romantic couples, decked in majestic green and gold.
