Filled with awe and wonder, Floating Farmhouse is a Catskills manor house that dates back to 1820, surrounded by ancient apple trees and gently elevated over a deep, private creek and waterfall.

You won’t believe you’re a mere two hours from the bright lights and bustle of NYC, as you wrap yourselves in scenic tranquillity that’s perfect for undisturbed catch-ups with family and friends.

Each space boasts a unique mix of old and new, such as the incredible kitchen, with its roaring wood-fired pizza oven and centuries-old beams. Bathrooms feature captivating elements that include a hand-chiselled sink from 1700s Italy, and a restored wood-and-copper soaking tub that dates back to the 19th century.

Meanwhile, a soaring wall of skyscraper glass invites the outside in as you cradle an afternoon tipple… or how about lounging on the ‘floating’ covered porch, overlooking the shimmering water?

Later on, the Great Room, with its huge fireplace and soft furnishings, is just the setting for deep conversations that last well into the night.

When it’s finally time for sleep, you’ll find each of the seven bedrooms furnished in soothing ‘vintage farmhouse’ style. Wake up to a hearty, home-cooked breakfast… after you’ve whetted your appetite with a morning dip in that gorgeous creek, of course!
