The story of Fallen Angel’s creation began when owners Jane and Mark fell in love with the secret garden and derelict house they went to view in 2015. What you see today is an award winning architect design property with interiors designed by owners Jane and Mark. To make their dream a reality, every element of Fallen Angel has been master-crafted and is completely bespoke.
Nestled within the slope of a hill with its own sheltered sub-tropical gardens and accessible solely by foot, Fallen Angel is perfectly private, yet located in the heart of a small Cornish village. The building’s exterior is constructed from a combination of contemporary rubber cladding, shou sugi ban (wood treated using traditional Japanese charring process), larch and traditional granite, with floor-to-ceiling windows that showcase exceptional views across to Mounts Bay.
Combining comfort with opulence, Fallen Angel’s interiors are a sensuous treat to behold. Infused with quality, you’ll find a host of beautiful muted colours and globally-sourced elements including a reclaimed Moroccan entrance door, Spanish tiling and hand-carved Malaysian teak, with original art displayed throughout. Discover state-of-the-art fixtures and fittings, including underfloor heating and power blinds to control right from the comfort of your luxurious bed.
The upper deck features a spacious living area, set off by an egg-shaped wood burner and stunning sea views from glazed windows. The decked balcony is the perfect place to enjoy a glass of wine or two, as you watch endless golden sunsets.
Prepare lavishly romantic feasts in the exquisite kitchen, crafted from sandblasted oak tinged with silver – or as you’re on holiday, why not arrange for a private chef to whip up some tempting treats instead? Later on, relax in the romantic snug as you talk the night away (or watch TV if you prefer!)
