Sublimely positioned in its very own wildflower meadow, Erwain Escapes is home to a charming and lovingly-crafted cabin that’s perfect for a romantic, cwtch-infused break.
(“Cwtch” is the glorious Welsh word for “cuddle”… much like the Danish “hygge”!)
Enchantingly nestled in Cwmdu, a picture-perfect Carmarthenshire village, you’ll be completely surrounded by the abundant, ever-changing seasonal charms of nature in your sustainable hideaway.
Even better, friendly owners and nature-lovers Angela and Ian have made sure your every holiday comfort is covered. For starters, there’ll be no TV or Wi-Fi to distract you from gorgeous glimpses of the resident wildlife – from badgers scuttling through the undergrowth to nearby grazing deer – or that magnificent, star-sprinkled night sky.
Who knows… you may even catch sight of an owl taking a well-deserved break from his nightly hunt, perched on the cabin’s sedum green roof!
You’ll also be greeted on arrival by a welcome pack of tea, coffee, locally-baked Welsh cakes and honey; perfect for enjoying on the decking, surrounded by views of rolling hills and a gentle soundtrack of birdsong.
Fire up the barbecue for a sizzling sunset supper later on, and then, after a round of toasted marshmallows on the firepit, how about an indulgent soak in the sunken al fresco bathtub – glass of bubbles optional?
