Plucked straight from the pages of an epic fantasy tale, Den in the Dales is an enchanting retreat for a romantic couple – and their best four-legged friend – in need of a fresh countryside escape.

You’ll find the cosy underground burrow perfectly secluded amongst rolling, sheep-dotted farmland in Yorkshire’s Swaledale Valley, with some fabulous local attractions (including the Pennine Way) accessible within a mile.

Yet once you’ve settled into your comfy, stylish den, you may decide to stay put for just a little while longer!  Sustainably crafted and beautifully furnished, this is a bolthole built to relax and unwind in.

The large, quirky circular door showcases that soothing scenery, as underfloor heating keeps you wonderfully toasty regardless of the weather.  There’s a Smart TV for snuggly evenings in, and a downy, built-in king size bed for lazy lie-ins.

All holiday facilities are present and correct too, including a kitchen packed with essentials (such as a built-in wine rack!) and a shower room to freshen up in after morning coffee on the furnished patio.

What will you do with the unfolding day?  Make friends with those inquisitive Swaledale sheep, or visit the tumbling Kisdon, East Gill, or Wain Wath Force waterfalls armed with a tasty picnic… just don’t forget your camera!
