This dog-friendly glamping accommodation comes equipped with cosy self-contained facilities, soft-glowing log burners, and quirky touches to make you feel at home. Whichever retreat you choose, you can expect a welcome pack full of activity ideas and local recommendations, as well as the option to order delicious breakfast picnics… a must.

The Grain Store (2 guests) is a grown-ups only former grain silo, creatively converted into a two-storey apartment with mesmerising views across the adjoining farmland. The skylight means you can watch the stars right from your roof-space bed, and there’s a relaxing al fresco firepit to accompany storytelling against a gentle soundtrack of owls.

If you loved tree-climbing as a kid, the Treehouse (2 guests) is the perfect adults only hideaway! Elevated amongst the rustling leaves, there’s a fun outdoor kitchen and barbecue deck below, whilst upstairs awaits a gorgeously rustic, fairy-lit living space and a snuggly double bedroom. You’ll have your own loo and piping-hot shower, too.

Bright and retro, the Big Yellow Caravan (2-3 guests) is an authentic German-built caravan that’s privately set amongst beautiful, wildlife-steeped garden space. You’ll feel as though you’ve travelled back in time as you relax in the original 1970s living space, and there’s a separate shower ‘shed’ to help you freshen up in style. Oh, and the soothing Wolds views from your enormous sun deck aren’t too bad, either!

Prefer something a little more modern? The Granary (2 guests) is a romantic loft-style apartment that boasts the original granary’s wooden beams and grain hatch. Yet there’s also plenty of contemporary style throughout.

If you’re holidaying in a group, three comfort-rich Woodland Cabins can be booked together to sleep up to 6 guests (or individually for 2), while The Dairy Studios – two sleek, self-contained studio apartments converted from the farm’s dairy – are perfect for couples and friends. The Garden Cottage sleeps up to 6 guests in a natural light-flooded country space with a part-walled garden.

Last but by no means least, The Summerhouse (2+2 guests) is an elegant cowshed conversion that boasts plenty of laid-back space inside and out, with huge windows, fur throws, and bi-fold doors that lead straight out to the charming kitchen garden.

Once you’ve settled into your chosen retreat, you’ll find this incredible part of the world is completely at your disposal. Take a windswept stroll along deserted beaches, visit the many local art and heritage sites, or explore tranquil country lanes on two wheels.

(Of course, if all you feel like doing is staying put and getting blissfully lost in Dale Farm’s big-sky country views, that’s perfectly fine too!)

2 night minimum stay applies; please check the property website for details. One well-behaved dog is welcome to stay in each retreat. Although children are welcome to stay (except in the Grain Store and Treehouse) please check the age limit for your chosen accommodation. Please note that Wi-Fi can be patchy on certain areas of the farm.
