Designed by the Vietnamese architect Đặng Việt Nga, Crazy House takes artistic inspiration from the likes of Antoni Gaudí, Salvador Dalí, and Walt Disney, in a spellbinding retreat that must be seen to be believed!

Resembling a gigantic tree, the house is an ode to the magic and beauty of nature.  From the moment you arrive, you’ll feel as though you’re in the midst of an enchanted forest.

Huge branches and winding paths that lead to beautiful, sculpted en-suite rooms that are themed around animals and elements of nature.  The Bear Room boasts Russian-inspired décor (and a huge bear statue!) and the Ant Room a glorious glass ceiling with an intricate ‘spider web’ design.

There’s also a mesmerising room that takes you right into the heart of the ocean, with 3D paintings of sea-creatures and a glistening chandelier, while if you’re on honeymoon there’s a dedicated garden-view suite plucked straight from the pages of a child’s storybook.

If you can tear yourselves away, attractions including Bao Dai’s Summer Palace and Xuan Huong Lake are in temptingly easy reach.  Yet you may opt to stay in nature’s creative wonderland just a little while longer… where you’re bound to live happily ever after!
