Perfectly positioned at the gateway to the Yorkshire Moors, Camp Kátur promises to restore your happiness (Kátur is Icelandic for “happy”, after all) by reconnecting you with the simple joys of nature.

Consisting of eco-lodges and geodomes, all with their own far-reaching views, it will be impossible not to fall in love with the Great Outdoors, all over again.

If you’re into serious stargazing, it’s Hill Farm you’ll want to head for. Home to a selection of transparent ceiling geodomes, some with hot tubs, each one aligned to the clear, dark skies and boasting views over the Vale of Mowbray, you’ll be in celestial heaven.

With 10 Hill Farm Geodomes, each sleeping groups of four, each geodome is equipped with crackling log burners and electricity, and is individually named after a star of the night sky – perfect for a group booking of 40 guests.

For smaller groups, head to Chestnut Lodge, sleeping 24 guests within four sleeping cabins, indoor and outdoor breakout spaces, not to mention a hot-tub and woodfired sauna, there’s plenty of spaces for a morning huddle, or to regroup as a team.

Sleeping a total of 76 guests, the entire site is available for group bookings, festivals, weddings and corporate events, with a large offering of activities available on request.

Chestnut Hill boasts two luxurious geodomes, each with their own integral kitchen, sunken hot tub and ensuite facilities, set on the top of a knoll that showcases amazing views over the camp’s wildlife hotspot.
